ZC Pretorius grew up in Louis Trichardt. After he matriculated in 1982 he studied Higher Education in Pretoria and became a teacher. In 1994 he decided to start a career in the Insurance world. He had a passion for the financial world for he grew up in this environment and it was familiar to him.

He was fully trained as a representative of Old Mutual where he received numerous awards throughout the following 5 years and ended his road with Old Mutual as the Area manager. He decided to broaden his horizons and shortly thereafter became a broker at Nedbank Louis Trichardt. During this time he realized that he can provide better services as an independent financial advisor.

Throughout the next couple of years he joined forces with independent broker houses where he obtained RFP® and AFP® as well as the necessary credits in order for him to become a Key Individual. With the ever changing industry he decided to start his own company in 2006, ZCP Konsult (Pty) Ltd.

His wife, Ria, joined him at that stage as co-owner of the business. The office was initially situated at their home. In 2008 ZC and his wife, Ria decided to move their business into the CBD area, Landros street, Louis Trichardt, and therefore provided an even better environment for their clients and staff. The business expanded and currently has 10 staff members. Each staff member is trained to meet clients’ requirements and needs to the best of their ability.
